A Space Where You Can Be Seen and Heard

Here, your story matters. I’m committed to creating an environment that feels welcoming and secure, where it’s okay to explore your feelings openly, including the difficult parts you might have been holding back. This is a place to reconnect with your emotions without judgment.

About Me

If you’re here, it means you’re curious about the person behind the therapy, who I am, the journey I’ve taken, and the people I’ve had the privilege to support along the way. At my core, I’m someone who deeply values connection, empathy, and creating a space where people feel truly seen and heard.

My journey as a therapist has been shaped by the incredible individuals I’ve had the privilege to work with: survivors of domestic and sexual violence, people who are unhoused or facing housing instability, clients receiving inpatient psychiatric care, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and people with substance use disorders. I’m especially dedicated to creating a welcoming, affirming space for clients from BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. I am also a member of the multidisciplinary Penn State Musical Theatre Wellness Team, where I support students navigating the unique demands of training, academics, and the challenge of balancing artistic goals with personal well-being.

This work is supported by my education. I earned a B.A. degrees in both Psychology and Administration of Justice from Penn State University, followed by an M.Ed. with an Emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in Schools and Communities. Together, my education and experience shape the warm, intuitive approach I bring to therapy.

I’m continually humbled by this work and honored to walk alongside those who entrust me with their stories.

Who I’m Here to Support

Many of the people I work with are used to carrying a lot quietly. On the outside, it might look like everything is together, but inside there are often feelings of anxiety, depression, or uncertainty about worth. Persistent self-doubt or feeling “not quite good enough” is common. Putting others first, sometimes at the expense of one’s own needs, happens frequently. For many, hiding true feelings and wearing a mask becomes a way to stay safe, but it often leads to exhaustion from holding so much alone.

Many of these experiences are part of a larger journey, a process of gradually revealing and embracing your authentic self. This process helps ease the burden of self-doubt and exhaustion by encouraging self-compassion, setting healthier boundaries, and building confidence. As you become more true to yourself, you can begin to let go of masks, honor your needs, and develop more fulfilling and balanced relationships. This is the foundation of my counseling approach, supporting you as you unfold into the person you were always meant to be.

Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity, trauma, relationship challenges, academic pressure, or the demands of digital life, we’ll work together to build emotional awareness, develop coping skills, and craft practical tools to ease distress, strengthen communication, and set boundaries that honor your needs. My goal is to help you grow confidence, nurture meaningful connections, and find a deeper sense of belonging and safety in your relationships and within yourself.

Let’s Walk This Path Together

Whenever you’re ready, I’m here, no pressure, just an open invitation to say hello.
